Summary

Sudoku Friends is a Sudoku game you can play with friends. We collect only what is needed to run a game room. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we never sell or share your data.

What we store

• Anonymous player ID. When you play online, the app creates an anonymous session. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number or Apple ID.
• The name you type. It is shown to the other players in your room. Use a nickname if you prefer.
• Game data. Rooms, room codes, settings, moves, mistakes, timings and emoji reactions, so everyone in the room sees the same game.
• Connection status. The time your device last checked in, so the room can tell when a player has left.

Solo (offline) games are stored only on your device and never sent to us.

Where it is stored and for how long

Online game data is stored with our hosting provider Supabase, on servers in the European Union (Ireland). Rooms that nobody has used for 30 minutes are deleted automatically, together with their players, names and moves. The anonymous player ID itself contains no personal information.

What we do not do

• No advertising and no tracking across apps or websites.
• No analytics or crash-reporting services.
• No access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Room codes are only shared between people who know each other.

Your choices

Leaving a room removes you from it. Deleting the app removes your anonymous session and saved games from your device. To ask about or delete any data, contact us at the address below.
